I SPLURGE ON — Skin care products. My husband just shakes his head and tells me that I don't need any expensive face cream because I'm aging well. Yeah, that's his version of a compliment.
MY FAVORITE MOVIE — Happy Death Day. It's a hilariously macabre version of Groundhog Day, which just happens to be Teagan O'Brien's favorite movie (Teagan is the heroine of my second Riley O'Brien & Co. novel, Coming Apart at the Seams). The runner-up is Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightly and Matthew McFadden.
MY MOST ANNOYING HABIT — Oh, it’s so difficult to choose because I have so many (or so I’ve been told). But it’s probably asking too many questions.
I'VE NEVER — Been skydiving or eaten sushi (I know. I’m really missing out.)
MY FAVORITE THING TO DO — My husband... or perhaps it would be more appropriate to say spending time with my husband.
GUILTY FOOD PLEASURE — My mom's chocolate cake. She makes it for my birthday every year (and on those rare occasions when I beg for it).
MUST-SEE TV — I am a huge fan of Korean TV. I have a subscription to Rakuten VIKI, and 99% of the TV I watch is Korean dramas, also known as K-dramas. In fact, I am so into K-dramas that my husband bought me Korean language lessons for my birthday. In case you're wondering, my fave K-drama is "Crash Landing on You" followed by "Just Between Lovers" and "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?".
LEAST FAVORITE CHORE — It used to be grocery shopping, but I have completely transitioned to online shopping and curbside pickup so now my least favorite chore is cleaning my cooktop and mopping my hardwood floors.
MUSIC ON MY PLAYLIST — When I'm in the car, I listen to Alt Nation, channel 36 on satellite radio. Some of my favorite artists include: Foals, Clairo, Death Cab for Cutie, and Catfish and the Bottlemen.
WHAT'S ON MY KINDLE? — Nearly 100% of what I read is romance, and I read all sub-genres though paranormal is my least favorite. Some of my favorite books are Blue-Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas, Last Light by Claire Kent, On Thin Ice by Anne Stuart, and All Chained Up by Sophie Jordan.
I WISH I KNEW HOW TO — Ice skate/play hockey, sew, and hack like a geeky criminal.
MY DREAM VACATION — A tour of Greece.
MY FAVORITE COLOR — Purple
